4, record 41, French, - v%C3%A9g%C3%A9tal%20en%20conteneur

The technical problems involved in gene transfer therapy make heart transplant surgery look easy. Theoretically, recombinant DNA (inserting strands of DNA where they don't naturally occur) allows for gene transplantation. Realistically, it is extremely difficult. Researchers have yet to find a way to put a healthy gene into a human somatic cell. DNA is well protected within the cells. DNA writes codes for life, and life would change if DNA were altered. The cell views altered (mutant) DNA as foreign, just like the body views a donor heart. Just like the body has an immune system, the cell has defenses against mutant DNA. 2, record 53, English, - gene%20transplantation

4, record 54, French, - principes%20scientifiques%20%C3%A9prouv%C3%A9s

The Marshall Plan, known officially following its enactment as the European Recovery Program (ERP), was the primary plan of the United States to promote the recovery of Europe and to advance American foreign and domestic economic policies after World War II. The initiative was named for United States Secretary of State George Marshall and was largely the creation of State Department officials, especially William L. Clayton and George F. Kennan. The reconstruction plan was developed at a meeting of the participating European States in July 1947. The Soviet Union and the states of Eastern Europe were invited, but Stalin saw the plan as a threat and did not allow the participation of any countries under Soviet control. The plan was in operation for four fiscal years beginning in July 1947. 4, record 55, English, - European%20Recovery%20Program

1, record 55, Spanish, - Plan%20de%20Recuperaci%C3%B3n%20Econ%C3%B3mica%20Europea

The fact that the word "status" does not restrict the statute in the manner proposed by the appellants is clear from the way the term has been qualified in the case law, and in the submissions of the parties. The very issue in this appeal has been characterized as whether s. 5(1) of the Code includes complaints based on "relative status" as opposed to "absolute status". The essence of the appellants' argument is that the ordinary meaning of the word "status" refers to an absolute condition; the inclusion of relative status within the scope of the definition would require the addition of a qualification. We cannot agree. The word "status" is equally capable of encompassing both the absolute definition and the relative definition. Moreover, the terms "marital status" and "family status" are in themselves relative. That is, they require the existence or absence of a relationship with another person. To restrict its meaning to the absolute would ignore the very condition that brings the status into being in the first place. 1, record 56, English, - relative%20status

1, record 92, French, - option%20permettant%20d%26rsquo%3Bavancer%20la%20date%20d%26rsquo%3B%C3%A9ch%C3%A9ance%20du%20swap

On-Top Formers. A feature common to all the formers discussed thus far is that the sheet plies are picked up and carried on the underside of the felt. This transfer method restricts operating speeds and sheet dryness levels. Another problem is that the sheet must be righted before it enters the press section; the usual procedure is to run the forming section in the opposite direction to the rest of the machine, and turn the felt over with a long carryback section. Less often, the delicate sheet is transferred from one felt to another entering the press section. The remaining formers to be discussed place the sheet on top of the felt or fabric. This approach eliminates the speed and dewatering limitations. But, housekeeping and maintenance aspects must be stressed since the sheet is more vulnerable to drips and spills. 1, record 97, English, - on%2Dtop%20former

1, record 100, French, - lutte%20sans%20merci
