The employer has the right to name hire supervision and employees provided such employees are in good standing with the appropriate local union in accordance with the following: a) the employer has the right to name hire the first twenty employees on any one site; b) thereafter the employer shall have the right to name hire one additional employee out of every four employees hired.

In locals where the employer can have one "name hire" (i.e., select by name any union member on the hiring hall list, regardless of their seniority ranking) for every worker assigned to the job by the union, on subsidized jobs the ratio can change to one "name-hire" for every three referrals.

Il a le droit d’en nommer un certain pourcentage avant de passer par le bureau d’embauche du syndicat local. Le bureau d’embauche fournit les autres employés, qui habitent la région géographique en question, à partir d’une liste de sélection. Les syndicats acceptent cette démarche.
