RECUL CHRONOLOGIQUE [2 records]

Record 1 2024-05-09

English

Subject field(s)
  • Artificial Intelligence
DEF

Backtracking so called because the parser's decision about where to backtrack is based upon the time when the decisions occurred, the last decision being the first one to redo.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Intelligence artificielle
DEF

Record 2 1989-12-12

English

Subject field(s)
  • Artificial Intelligence
CONT

The procedure for identifying relevant choices may be called dependency-directed backtracking to stress that the choices to be withdrawn are those on which the dead-end depends. The procedure is also called nonchronological backtracking to stress that time does not determine which choices are to be withdrawn.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Intelligence artificielle
DEF
