3, record 1, French, - attitude

The Flight Control System of the Ariane 5 is of a standard design. The attitude of the launcher and its movements in space are measured by an Inertial Reference System (SRI). It has its own internal computer, in which angles and velocities are calculated on the basis of information from a strap-down inertial platform, with laser gyros and accelerometers. 2, record 2, English, - strap%2Ddown%20inertial%20platform

Crossbow [TM] Technology, Inc. ... introduced its new AHRS500GA solid-state attitude and heading reference system for general aviation ... Crossbow's AHRS500GA is a strap-down subsystem that delivers heading measurements with dynamic accuracy of +/- 2.0 and static accuracy of +/- 1.5. Attitude accuracy is less than +/- 0.5 degrees (static) and +/- 2.0 degrees (dynamic). Range is +/- 180 degrees. The system features the industry's highest performing sensors, including advanced MEMs accelerometers and rate gyros that provide much higher reliability than traditional spinning mass gyros. 14, record 3, English, - attitude%20and%20heading%20reference%20system

The attitude indicator (also called the artificial horizon or the gyro horizon) provides the pilot with an artificial horizon as a means of reference when the natural horizon cannot be seen because of cloud, fog, rain or other obstructions to visibility... The natural horizon is represented by a horizon bar on the face of the instrument.

5, record 6, French, - assiette%20de%20l%26rsquo%3Bavion
