For example, a polystyrene sphere of 100 nm diameter represents the upper limit for the nanoparticle definition as well as for the ultrafine particle definition that addresses aerodynamic or mobility equivalent diameters. Porous particles have smaller equivalent optical and aerodynamic diameters than non-porous particles. Non-porous particles with higher density than polystyrene have larger aerodynamic equivalent diameters. 2, record 1, English, - ultrafine%20particle

In many fields, it has been the custom to define particle size ranges with common behaviour, sources or composition using the method of measurement embedded in the definition. An example is the term "ultrafine particles" defined as particles with equivalent diameters smaller than 100 nm. The equivalent diameter refers to the practice of reporting the size of a particle of unknown composition or shape as if the particle had known composition and spherical shape. For example, when the particles are measured using an inertial based instrument, the aerodynamic diameter is an equivalent diameter, computed as if the particle had unity specific gravity and a spherical shape corresponding to the measured particle settling velocity. Unfortunately, the term "ultrafine particle" is sometimes used interchangeably with the term "nanoparticle." 3, record 1, French, - particule%20ultrafine

An instrument which responds to density changes in the gas stream, directly related to the molecular weights. Several forms of gas density balance have been developed since this type of detector was first introduced by Martin and James. Improvements in instrumentation have led to a revival of interest in it as a detector system suitable for molecular-weight studies. The density changes are measured by means of a form of U-tube, one limb of which contains pure carrier gas and the other column effluent gas. An anemometer situated between the two limbs detects and measures any density difference. Using nitrogen or argon carrier gas the limit of detection is 0.4 μg, response is linear with concentration, and it can be used for molecular weight determinations for values below 200 and for percentage composition studies. 5, record 8, English, - gas%20density%20balance

4, record 14, French, - universit%C3%A9%20d%26rsquo%3Bentreprise

One of the market problems is the variety of land destination in urbanized territories and suburban areas. The main reason is insufficient detail planning of these territories and cadastral measurement of land plots. In addition, it would be necessary to inventory land plots again and renew cartographic material - that would speed up land plot formation process. One probable solution is the participation of clearly outlined state and private capital in the processes mentioned abobe. 2, record 17, English, - general%20land%20destination
