Curb bulbs extend the sidewalk into the street, reducing the time and distance it takes a pedestrian to cross. Curb bulbs can also prevent drivers from parking in front of crosswalks or blocking curb ramps. The visibility between drivers and pedestrians is also improved with curb bulbs because pedestrians are brought farther out into the street, making crossing locations more recognizable. 7, record 25, English, - curb%20extension

Phyllodes tumor. Previously known as "cystosarcoma phyllodes", this neoplasm is a bulky, fibroma-like tumor (i,e,, made up of proliferative ducts and stroma) having on cross section numerous clefts and slits creating leaflike [phyllodes] patterns of intervening tumor. Phyllodes tumors can be very large, causing breast distortion and pressure necrosis of overlying skin. These lesions can be either malignant (uncommon) or benign (common). Changes suggesting malignant potential include increased cellularity, anaplasia, high mitotic activity, and overgrowth of the stromal component. 1, record 42, English, - phyllodes%20tumor

Tumeur phyllode.

Record number: 63, Textual support number: 2 OBS
2, record 63, French, - penthouse
Record number: 63, Textual support number: 3 OBS

Joints always constitute weak links in an assembly. Therefore it is good practice to locate them on top of a curb. The curb is built directly on the roof deck and is anchored to it.
