In response to this recommendation the bill [C-54, an Act to Promote Physical Activity and Sport] provides for the creation of the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada. A flexible organization, the Centre will be a tool to contribute to the fair, timely, equitable and transparent resolution of disputes at a low cost, for the benefit of the sport community.
