Through the mandates assigned to it, the Secrétariat analyzes government departments’ communication projects and coordinates their efforts. The VSI [Voluntary Sector Initiative] is being co-managed by members of the voluntary sector and the federal government. A new secretariat created by the Voluntary Sector Roundtable [VSR] is responsible for coordinating the sector's participation in this endeavor.
