1, record 1, French, - redresseur%20prot%C3%A9g%C3%A9%20par%20avalanche
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
1, record 1, French, - redresseur%20prot%C3%A9g%C3%A9%20par%20avalanche

Cementitious materials include the variety of ceramic products that may be mixed with water or another liquid to form a paste. The paste, which is temporarily plastic, can be molded and may or may not have aggregate added to it. Later, it hardens or sets to a rigid mass. The simple cementing materials, such as limes and plasters, are produced by driving off a liquid or gas from some natural mineral. The dry and wet bulb temperatures are measured using psychrometers. Most common are those using two mercury thermometers, one of them having the bulb covered with a wick saturated with distilled water, and which measures a temperature lowered due to the evaporative cooling. When they are naturally ventilated inside a shelter, problems can arise if air flow is not sufficient to maintain an appropriate evaporation rate and associated cooling. Crops grow reasonably well with widely different amounts of water in the atmosphere but when the air immediately surrounding the leaves becomes too dry, growth will be checked. If there is an adequate amount of water in the soil, supplied either by rain or irrigation, the plants can ordinarily absorb and transpire enough water to maintain a moderately moist atmosphere around the leaves, but when soil moisture is deficient and the evaporating power of the air is high, water will be lost from the leaves faster than it can be obtained from the soil and the plant will wilt and be unable to grow efficiently. Thus, the dryness of the air as well as the dryness of the soil is likely to limit crop production. 1, record 36, English, - evaporating%20power%20of%20the%20air

The only factors affecting ETo are climatic parameters. Consequently, ETo is a climatic parameter and can be computed from weather data. ETo expresses the evaporating power of the atmosphere at a specific location and time of the year and does not consider the crop characteristics and soil factors. The FAO Penman-Monteith method is recommended as the sole method for determining ETo. 3, record 36, English, - evaporating%20power%20of%20the%20air

A pond is not an essential feature of the bog garden, although its presence is to be desired when you can use the overflow to feed a marsh. It is essential, that the soil of the marsh garden be kept in a moist, swampy state through out year. The site of the bog garden must, naturally, be low-lying and where the surface drainage will naturally collect. If the subsoil is of sticky clay, a mere trickle of water will keep the ground in a sufficiently moist condition. Should the subsoil be light and well drained, a certain amount of excavation will be necessary before the bog garden can be made. 1, record 43, English, - bog%20garden

5, record 53, French, - chauffage%20%C3%A0%20air%20chaud%20%C3%A0%20circulation%20naturelle

Joly assumed that the earth's crust as a whole slips toward the west in relation to the interior of the earth, whose different parts were thus probably alternately protected by the sial covering of the continent, in the shelter of which they reheated, and, after having been fused, were exposed to cooling beneath the ocean areas. On the basis of such mechanics, he hoped to explain the cyclic character of the fusions and resolidifications of the basalt that were considered as being the cause of orogenic movements. But it seems hardly possible to explain this displacement toward the west in terms of mechanics. 1, record 57, English, - Joly%27s%20theory

1, record 57, French, - hypoth%C3%A8se%20de%20Joly
