5, record 2, French, - cahier%20d%26rsquo%3Binformation

Auditory feedback is the relative loudness level at which telephone users are able to hear their voice. With conventional wired telephones, an audio signal is fed back to the user's own earpiece so they can hear their voice at a predetermined loudness level. This audio signal is sometimes called sidetone. Persons speaking on the phone naturally will tend to adjust the loudness level of their voice to produce a comfortable level of audio in the earpiece. In contrast, wireless mobile cellular telephones do not generally provide feedback of a user's own voice in the receiver. Consequently, they tend to speak at relatively loud levels that are sometimes annoying to those around them. 1, record 6, English, - auditory%20feedback

1, record 17, French, - patrimoine%20d%26rsquo%3Baffectation

The CIT, also known as the guilty knowledge test [GKT], is used in criminal investigations to examine whether a person recognizes crime-relevant information that innocent people would not know. In the CIT, an examiner presents several items to an examinee, one of which is a crime-relevant item. The items are selected such that innocent examinees would not be able to distinguish the crime-relevant (critical) item from the crime-irrelevant (non-critical) items. Each item is presented once in a block and this block is repeated several times in different presentation orders. During the CIT, the examiner records physiological responses to the items. In the case that the responses do not differ between the critical and non-critical items, the examiner would infer that the examinee does not recognize the critical item. On the other hand, in the case that the responses differ between the critical and non-critical items, the examiner would infer that the examinee recognizes the critical item. 1, record 21, English, - concealed%20information%20test

The Dix-Hallpike test is typically performed in a doctor's office. The doctor will ask you to sit upright on an exam table with your legs stretched out in front of you and your head turned to one side. They will then ask you to lower your head and torso back so that you end up lying with your head stretched off the edge of the exam table, turned with one ear down at a 45-degree angle. If there are misplaced calcium deposits (also called canaliths) in the posterior canal of your inner ear, this will trigger vertigo symptoms. 4, record 31, English, - Dix%2DHallpike%20manoeuver

6, record 63, French, - syndrome%20de%20verrouillage

Persona. From Latin "persona": an actor's mask. A term used by C.G. Jung for the "external" character which enables an individual to interrelate with the world around him so that he arrives at a kind of compromise between his individual psychological constitution (individual character) and the collective situation. This presupposes an ability to adapt to society. 3, record 98, English, - persona
