A code page is a table that defines the character set you are using. A character set is a country-specific or language-specific group of characters that are translated from the code page table and displayed by your screen or printer. Each code page character set contains 256 characters. An example of a character set is the set of letters, numbers, and symbols (such as accent marks) used by French-Canadians. MS-DOS 3.3 supports five different code pages: 437 - United States code page. 850 - Multilingual code page. This code page includes all character for most languages of European, North American, and South American countries. 860 - French-Canadian code page. 865 - Nordic code page. This is one of the six modules of PWGSC's [Public Works and Government Services Canada] Common Departmental Financial System (CDFS). The budget portion of the Budget and Forecasting Module allows input of financial, full time equivalent, or statistical data, either by keyboard or by an upload of an ASCII file. This data can be input as one amount or spread by period (month, quarter, etc.). This portion of the Module allows users to identify budget transfers as temporary or permanent. It also provides for a budget entry at the lowest level, that will reference a client defined control point and distribute the budget amounts down from the reference point to the lowest level respecting the allotment controls that are in place in the Financial Control Table (allotment data). The forecast portion of the Module allows for the input of financial, full time equivalent, or statistical data, by keyboard or an upload. Il s’agit d’un des six modules du Système financier ministériel commun(SFMC) de TPSGC [Travaux publics et Services gouvernementaux Canada]. La partie budget du module Budget et prévisions permet la saisie des données financières, des données relatives aux équivalents temps plein ou des données statistiques par clavier ou par téléchargement d’un fichier ASCII. Les données peuvent être saisies d’un coup ou par période(mois, trimestre, etc.). Cette partie du module permet aux utilisateurs de déterminer si les transferts budgétaires sont temporaires ou permanents; elle permet également le chargement ascendant de la Table de contrôle financier(données sur les affectations). La partie prévisions du module permet la saisie des données financières, des données relatives aux équivalents temps plein ou des données statistiques par clavier ou par téléchargement.
