Fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) is one of the many different modes of high-resolution spatial and temporal analysis of extremely low concentrated biomolecules. In contrast to other fluorescence techniques, the parameter of primary interest is not the emission intensity itself, but rather spontaneous intensity fluctuations caused by the minute deviations of the small system from thermal equilibrium. ... Fluorescence correlation spectroscopy has been developed in the early seventies as a special case of relaxation analysis. 2, record 1, English, - fluorescence%20correlation%20spectroscopy

1, record 1, French, - spectroscopie%20par%20corr%C3%A9lation%20de%20fluorescence

In gas correlation spectroscopy, a cell containing the target gas is placed in front of the sensor. The scene is viewed twice, through the target gas cell and through an empty cell. The gas in the cell serves as a "matched filter" to the target gas in the plume. The "modulated" transmission of the system is very high at the spectral bands of the target gas while it practically blocks transmission at all other wavelengths. The system has a very high Etendue (throughput) and is simultaneously responsive to several spectral lines or bands -- increasing the overall sensitivity. 2, record 5, English, - gas%20correlation%20spectroscopy

2, record 6, French, - microscopie%20confocale%20%C3%A0%20balayage%20laser%20%C3%A0%20excitation%20monophotonique
