[...] Tal como indica la Ortografía de la lengua española, las palabras, normalmente de origen onomatopéyico, que se forman por la duplicación de un mismo elemento se escriben sin guiones cuando se usan como sustantivos: el "chachachá", el "pillapilla", el "tuctuc". Se escribe sin comillas ni cursiva y su plural es "tuctucs". También se documenta la grafía "tuktuk", plural "tuktuks".
