2, record 6, French, - microenvironnement%20tumoral

Since transgenic mice are being used to analyse somatic and germinal mutation rates in vivo, it is of interest to know to what extent these mice are normal or abnormal in any way. During experiments designed to compare the mutational response of the trasgene and an endogenous gene, Big Blue mice hemizygous for the transgene were bred to create a hybrid mouse in which the comparisons could be made. The fraction of these mice that inherited the transgene was 37% rather than the Mendelian expectation of 50%. 1, record 7, English, - germinal%20mutation

Tumors of the urinary collecting system (renal calyces, pelvis, ureter, bladder, and urethra). Since the entire urinary collecting system from renal pelvis to urethra is lined with transitional epithelium, its epithelial tumors assume similar morphologic patterns. They range from small benign papilloma to large invasive cancers. Large papillomas may develop, usually in the bladder, ranging from 1 to 3 cm in diameter. In these, the epithelium is generally somewhat atypical, with some variability in cell and nuclear size and some disarray in the cells' normal relationships to one another. It is this pattern that is called by some "an atypical transitional cell papilloma", whereas others call it a transitional cell carcinoma. 2, record 11, English, - urothelial%20papilloma

Geographic bone destruction. The geographic pattern is the least aggressive pattern of bone destruction, as it is generally indicative of a slow-growing lesion. The margin of the lesion is well defined and easily separated from the surrounding normal bone. This margin may be smooth or irregular, but in either instance, it is usually clearly demarcated, with a short zone of transition from normal to abnormal bone. Benign bone tumors usually demonstrate geographic bone destruction. Malignant diseases (such as plasma cell myeloma and metastasis) and osteomyelitis (particularly granulomatous infections) can demonstrate a similar pattern of bone destruction, however. 1, record 12, English, - geographic%20bone%20destruction
