1. Urticaria of short duration, with the distinction from chronic urticaria often being drawn arbitrarily at two months. 2. Urticaria occurring within minutes of exposure to an antigen, such as penicillin or a bee sting.

L'urticaire et l'angioedème aigus sont essentiellement des phénomènes d’anaphylaxie limitée à la peau et aux tissus sous-cutanés et peuvent être dus à une allergie médicamenteuse, des piqûres d’insectes ou des morsures, des injections de désensibilisation, ou l'ingestion de certains aliments [...] œufs, fruits de mer, noix ou fruits). [...] L'urticaire aiguë est spontanément résolutive et disparaît généralement en 1 à 7 jours.
