Le Comité des citoyens et citoyennes du quartier Saint-Sauveur est un organisme visant l'amélioration de la qualité et des conditions de vie des résidents et résidentes du quartier Saint-Sauveur, surtout les plus vulnérables. Il défend leurs droits et intérêts en matière de logement, d’aménagement urbain et de vie de quartier. Par divers moyens, il regroupe les personnes autour d’enjeux les concernant, conscientise, informe, mobilise, anime et cherche à susciter réflexions et débats. Pour réaliser cette mission, les actions du Comité vont dans le sens de : l'utilisation de l'éducation populaire autonome; l'augmentation de l'offre de logements de qualité à bas prix; la promotion des liens intergénérationnels; la protection de l'environnement; l'équité entre les citoyen-ne-s; l'augmentation du sentiment de sécurité; la promotion et le développement d’un aménagement urbain de qualité; l'application d’un développement local qui fait la promotion des forces vives du quartier et qui sait tirer profit de l'apport des nouvelles communautés culturelles; et la conscientisation de la population à la démocratie participative pour tendre vers une communauté durable. 3, record 2, French, - Comit%C3%A9%20des%20citoyens%20et%20citoyennes%20du%20quartier%20Saint%2DSauveur
