The Role of the Strategic Investment Framework in Public Service Modernization Act (PSMA) Implementation and HR Modernization - The SIF is the strategic framework for the proposed investment of the funds already earmarked in the fiscal framework for PSMA implementation. It is a "funding stewardship" tool that brings a disciplined approach to determining priority of investment demands stemming from the PSMA and helps to ensure the effective use of limited resources, value for money, affordability, and efficiency. This Framework was approved by Treasury Board ministers in April 2004.

Objet du Cadre d’investissement stratégique dans le contexte de la mise en œuvre de la Loi sur la modernisation de la fonction publique(LMFP) et de la modernisation des RH : Le CIS constitue le cadre d’investissement stratégique des fonds déjà réservés dans le cadre financier pour la mise en œuvre de la LMFP.
