Atmospheric transparency is a parameter used to describe the transmittance of solar radiation. During clear weather, atmospheric transparency is high, so more solar radiation reaches the ground. During overcast and stormy skies, atmospheric transparency is quite low, so less solar radiation reaches the ground. 2, record 1, English, - atmospheric%20transparency

2, record 4, French, - atmosph%C3%A8re%20moyenne

What is the lower atmosphere? The troposphere is the layer of neutral atmosphere from the Earth's surface up to the tropopause at around 10 kilometers.
