... MBE [molecular beam epitaxy] can grow semiconductors with large area and ultra-thin crystal layer with high uniformity and high-quality crystals, and with uniform doping profile necessary for an abrupt junction. Since the solar spectrum is broad by nature, the window effect for high-performance solar cells is also feasible by MBE using lattice-matched GaAlAs mixed crystals. 2, record 4, English, - window%20effect

2, record 4, French, - effet%20fen%C3%AAtre

The word "endogenous" was originally a botanical term ... Endogenous means originating on or growing within the side of something, as cells within the wall of the parent cell ... That's a good metaphor for economic or technological growth -- exogenous growth is growing like rings on a tree -- definitely not how an economy grows, or innovations develop. It's a view of society as a giant organism within which innovations develop randomly and irregularly, not in any planned manner. Endogenous growth theory simply means economic growth from within a system, usually a nation-state. 2, record 5, English, - endogenous%20growth%20theory
