The Metal Finishing Industry Pollution Prevention Project is a joint industry-government project aimed at assisting metal finishers with the adoption of pollution prevention principles and planning. This voluntary project operates under a Memorandum of Understanding between the Canadian Association of Metal Finishers, the American Electroplaters and Surface Finishers Society, the Metal Finishing Suppliers' Association, the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Environment Canada.
