The Northern Dimension of Canada's Foreign Policy (NDFP) sets out a vision for Canada in the circumpolar world, based on cooperation with Northerners and our circumpolar neighbours. The northern foreign policy promotes Canadian interests and values as we work to address the issues we have in common with our northern partners. Canada has committed $2 million a year for the implementation of the NDFP.
