Saskatchewan's Workers' Compensation Board is an independent body created by provincial legislation, the Workers' Compensation Act 1979, General Regulations, and Exclusion Regulations to administer a compensation system on behalf of workers and employers. Guided by the Meredith Principles and our vision, mission and values, we are financially independent of government and special-interest groups. We collect assessment premiums from employers and make appropriate payments to injured workers from a common fund.
