Canada Conferencing Service (CCS) uses a collaboration technology called Cisco Webex that allows users to meet with anyone, anywhere, and on any device (desktops, smartphones, traditional or mobile phones, and other devices which use standards-based browser technology). It can also be used for audio-only calls (such as a traditional teleconference), videoconference, or web conference.

The Government Teleconferencing Service (GTS) closed down on November 30, 2020, and it was replaced by the Canada Conferencing Service (CCS) run by Shared Services Canada.
