A treatment technique in which the psychotherapist focuses the patient's attention on his conscious behavior, helping him to assume greater responsibility for his own actions and to find better ways of handling the situations of life. Reality therapy was developed by William Glasser (1965) as an alternative to the psychoanalytic approach, which, he holds, tends to weaken the patient's responsibility for himself. 1, record 1, English, - reality%20therapy

1, record 1, French, - th%C3%A9rapie%20de%20la%20r%C3%A9alit%C3%A9
