Many Pioneer speakers utilise a voice coil whose cylinder is made from a woven fiberglass material bound by a polymide resin. This Glass Imide material has much higher heat resistance, which translates into higher power handling capability for the speaker and less distortion.

Beaucoup de haut-parleurs Pioneer utilisent une bobine mobile dont le cylindre est réalisé dans un matériau en fibre de verre tissé et lié par une résine polyimide. Ce composé verre-imide résiste nettement mieux à la chaleur, ce qui se traduit par une meilleure gestion de la puissance dans le chef du haut-parleur et par une diminution des distorsions.
