Record 1 2026-01-08

English

Subject field(s)
  • Actuarial Practice
  • Pensions and Annuities
DEF

… the earliest age [at] which workers can claim their full pension.

OBS

The term "normal retirement age" is somewhat misleading. It is not the age at which members normally retire. There are many pension plans where only a small percentage of the workforce will work up to the "normal" retirement age of 65.

OBS

In many pension plans, the URA [unreduced retirement age] is the same at the NRA, i.e. pensions commencing prior to the NRA are always subject to reduction.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Actuariat
  • Pensions et rentes
DEF

English

Subject field(s)
  • Genetics
DEF

A type of nucleic acid present in all living cells and composed of unbranched, often long, chains of ribonucleotides ...

OBS

RNA is principally involved in the synthesis of proteins by transcription and translation of DNA ... In some viruses it is the sole nucleic acid, and hence the carrier of genetic information. RNA differs from DNA in containing the sugar ribose rather than deoxyribose; in having the base uracil in place of thymine; and in usually being single-stranded.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Génétique
DEF
