Truck unloading facilities, like those for rail, vary from terminal to terminal. Recently, large semitrailer hopper trucks have come into the grain movement. They carry between 20 and 30 tonnes and unload through bottom discharge gates into an unloading pit. Unlike the case of rail hoppers cars, normally few changes are required in terminal design to accommodate hopper trucks.

Les installations de déchargement des camions, comme celles des wagons, varient d'un silo industriel à l'autre. Il n'y a pas longtemps, on a vu apparaître de grands camions semi-remorques à trémies capables de transporter de 20 à 30 tonnes de grain et de les décharger dans les fosses par leurs vannes. Contrairement à ce qui se produit pour les wagons-trémies, l'aménagement des silos ne nécessite que peu de modifications pour permettre la livraison par camions a trémies.
