The purpose of the Canadian Adult Achievement Test (CAAT) is to determine the functional achievement level of Canadian adults. It has been developed to assist adult basic educators to accurately assess clients working at a wide range of ability and/or literacy levels. The Canada Employment and Immigration Commission has endorsed the CAAT.
