The Canadian Biotechnology Advisory Committee (CBAC) is a body of external experts established in September 1999 by the Government of Canada. CBAC provides comprehensive advice on current policy issues associated with the ethical, social, regulatory, economic, scientific, environmental and health aspects of biotechnology. Le Comité consultatif canadien de la biotechnologie (CCCB) est un organe créé en septembre 1999 et formé d'experts de l'extérieur du gouvernement. Son rôle est de fournir des conseils exhaustifs au gouvernement du Canada en ce qui a trait aux enjeux stratégiques actuels liés aux aspects éthique, social, réglementaire, économique, scientifique, environnemental et de santé de la biotechnologie.
