The Census of Agriculture in the United States is taken every five years. The first surveys of agriculture were taken as part of the standard decennial population census. Beginning in 1925, the Census of Agriculture was taken more twice per decade.

"Census of agriculture" is the official name used by the National Agricultural Statistics Service of the United States.
