Du 3 au 5 mai 2004, ont eu lieu à Luxembourg les «Central Region Chiefs of Army Staff Talks». Sur invitation du chef d'état-major de l'Armée, le Colonel Nico Ries, ces pourparlers se sont tenus au Centre de communication du gouvernement à Senningen. Les discussions portaient sur des sujets d'intérêt commun entre chefs d'état-major de l'Armée de terre tels les défis en rapport avec les changements de la structure de commandement de l'OTAN et les effets de ceux-ci sur les Armées de terre de la «région centrale».
