The Canadian Committee for Professionalism (CCFP), which is sponsored jointly by the CFEC [Canadian Foreign Exchange Committee] and the FMAC [Financial Markets Association of Canada], was inaugurated in late 1993. This independent Committee reports regularly to the CFEC, and its guiding mission is to promote a high standard of professionalism and ethical conduct in the Canadian foreign exchange markets.
