On August 15 [2019], PSPC [Public Services and Procurement Canada] announced the creation of the Industry Advisory Committee on Neural Machine Translation and the appointment of its 18 members. This Committee, whose purpose is to consult the industry on the impact of neural machine translation, is one of the first such committees in the world. Its members are professionals who represent the country's language sector.
