The Canadian Senior Pro Rodeo Association, formerly known as the Canadian Old Timers Rodeo Association, was formed in 1985 by a group of cowboys who were interested in the continued growth of rodeo from the aspect of an "Old Timer" –Old Timer being forty (40) years of age or older. As well as [promoting] the sport of Rodeo for the Senior Pro Cowboys and Cowgirls, it affords the opportunity for friendly social activities.
