Legal officers of the Regular Force or Reserve Force that are holding a position on the establishment of the Office of the Judge Advocate General (JAG) are, regardless of where they are employed, directly responsible to the JAG for the performance of their duties, except where legal officers are posted to a military trial judge position or employed in the Directorate of Personnel Legal Services.
