Avec l'effet «Fish-Eye» l'image est projetée sur une sphère. Elle est par conséquent déformée horizontalement et verticalement. En guise de résultat, l'image ressemble à une photographie prise à l'aide d'un objectif «Fish-Eye». Avec ce type d'objectifs la distance focale est inférieure à 10 mm et l'angle de visée du photographe est supérieur à 90.
