OBS

The standard 12-lead ECG remains a cornerstone of the clinical cardiologic evaluation. Although vectorcardiography and other more sophisticated approaches have their proponents, the standard 12-lead ECG remains a highly cost-effective screening test.

El primer ascenso, P, es debido a la contracción de la aurícula y se conoce con el nombre de complejo auricular. Las otras deflexiones son debidas a la acción de los ventrículos: QRS o complejo ventricular a su excitación, T a su repolarización.
