Quand les poissons prennent des nymphes très près de la surface, à l'éclosion, on peut alors monter des nymphes lestées, voire ajouter une très légère collerette à l'artificielle. Mais il ne s'agit plus alors d'une nymphe, mais d'une «flymph», ou (émergente), que l'on peut graisser, et avec laquelle on pêchera comme en mouche sèche.
