In 1987, Federal Express Corporation purchased its 6 year old Canadian licensee, Cansica Inc. and began operating as Federal Express Canada Ltd. The company's 400 employees distributed Canadian customers' transborder (U.S. - Canada) shipments. FedEx was the first Canadian courier to use dedicated airlift.

Federal Express Corporation a poursuivi ses activités sous la dénomination sociale de Federal Express Canada ltée.
