Brian Coburn, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and Ottawa-Orleans MPP today attented a ribbon-cutting ceremony on behalf of Jim Wilson, Minister of Energy, Science and Technology, to open the first two Ottawa Biotechnology Incubation Centre (OBIC) sites. Located at the Greenbelt Research Farm, the 18,000-square-foot facility will house up to eight start-up companies that focus on advanced agri-food technologies and bio-product sciences.
