Fall of 1995. Co-sponsored by REDO (Regional Economic Diversification Opportunities) and the MITEL Corporation, the Human Resources Forum brought together approximately 50 representatives of departmental career centres whose responsibility it was to advise public servants facing employment with an equal number of private sector human resources officers and managers. Held at MITEL, the session provided an opportunity to exchange information on private sector employment opportunities and practices as well as alerting employers to the nature and extent of the pool of potential employees arising from the government downsizing exercise.

Automne de 1995. Coparrainé par ODÉR (Opération Diversification Économique Régionale) et la société MITEL Corporation, le Forum sur les ressources humaines a réuni une cinquantaine de représentants de centres de réorientation professionnelle de ministères chargés de conseiller les fonctionnaires qui faisaient face au chômage et autant d'agents et de gestionnaires des ressources humaines du secteur privé. Le Forum, qui s'est tenu chez MITEL, a permis d'échanger de l'information sur les possibilités et les pratiques d'emploi dans le secteur privé et de prévenir les employeurs au sujet de la nature et de l'importance du bassin d'employés éventuels que créerait l'exercice de décroissance des services gouvernementaux.
