Ratio Nv of the number of moles of water vapour (nv = mv/Mv) to the total number of moles in a parcel of air (nv + na), where n[ subscript a] = m[ subscript a]/Ma is the number of moles of dry air (M is the molecular weight; m, the mass); Nv = nsubscript v/(na +nv).

[Nv est égal à nv divisé par na + nv].

On calcule un titre molaire de la vapeur d'eau saturante par rapport à la glace (Nvi) et un autre par rapport à l'eau (Nvw).

Le mot «titre» doit être accompagné d'un qualificatif tel que massique, volumique ou molaire; à défaut de qualificatif, le mot «titre» doit s'entendre comme «titre massique».
