The average annual salary received or deemed to have been received by the contributor during the period of five successive years of pensionable service during which his salary was highest.

OBS

Dans certains documents de l'administration publique, on utilise «moyenne des gains» pour «gains moyens». Toutefois ces deux termes ne peuvent être considérés comme des synonymes parce que le gain moyen est le résultat du calcul de la moyenne des gains.
