The FASM is the owner of the Individual Training Management Information System (ITMIS) and overall manager of the Trainee Production Management Information System (Upgrade) (TPMS(U) environment. Having overall responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the ITMIS throughout its life cycle, the FASM is responsible for the conceptual data model, configuration management, functional security, and for the provision of operational policy and guidance.
