fantomiser; spectrifier : Bien qu'ils soient parfois employés, sous l'influence de l'anglais, en tant que verbes transitifs directs, les verbes «fantomiser» et «spectrifier» devraient être employés de façon pronominale pour traduire «to ghost», car c'est la personne qui rompt de cette façon qui devient le «fantôme» ou le «spectre». Dans leur sens littéral, ces verbes signifient «transformer en fantôme ou en spectre». On dira donc préférablement «se fantomiser» ou «se spectrifier».
