L'examen radiologique [à base d'un liquide baryté] de l'œsophage («gorgée barytée») est l'examen diagnostique le plus souvent utilisé, car il permet d'évaluer les lésions structurelles et les troubles moteurs. On le considère comme l'examen clé dans l'évaluation des patients atteints de dysphagie. [...] L'enregistrement vidéo de la «gorgée barytée» permet de revoir la déglutition au ralenti.
