[Greffage [au cours duquel] la fibre est bombardée par un faisceau d'électrons, à la vitesse de 200 000 kilomètres par seconde, de manière à casser certaines de ses liaisons covalentes et à forger des sites radicalaires très réactifs. Le textile est plongé dans le bain contenant les molécules actives, avant ou pendant l'activation.

OBS

Plus exigeant en termes d'investissement, le greffage par faisceau d'électrons est plus «propre» et permet de traiter toutes les fibres, et non plus seulement les fibres naturelles. Qu'il soit chimique ou «électronique», le greffage garantit une action permanente des agents greffés.
