The Canadian Council for Small Business & Entrepreneurship (CCSBE) is the only national membership-based organization in Canada whose goals are to promote and advance the development of small business and entrepreneurship through research, education and training, networking and dissemination of scholarly & policy-oriented information. The organization was established in 1979 as the first affiliate of the International Council for Small Business. It changed its name to CCSBE in 1991. Its members include academics, educators, representatives of small business support organizations, researchers, government officials, students of entrepreneurship, and policy makers.

Le Conseil canadien des PME et de l'entrepreneuriat (CCPME) est la seule organisation canadienne mutuelle à promouvoir et favoriser le développement des petites entreprises et l'entrepreneuriat par le biais de la recherche, l'éducation et la formation, le réseautage et la diffusion d'informations savantes et décisionnelles. Le CCPME voit le jour en 1979 en tant que filiale du Conseil international des petites et moyennes entreprises (CIPME). Il devient officiellement le CCPME en 1991. Ses membres sont des universitaires, des chercheurs, des enseignants, des représentants des organismes d'aide aux PME, des fonctionnaires, des étudiants en entrepreneuriat, et des décideurs de politique générale.
