Ce mécanisme de liaison des propriétés à un schéma bien déterminé est fondamental, parce qu'il permet de différencier deux propriétés de même nom. Il est ainsi parfaitement envisageable qu'un autre schéma (i.e. identifié par un autre espace de nom) puisse définir également une propriété 'est-écrit-par' sans engendrer aucune ambiguïté puisque les deux propriétés seront distinguées grâce à leur identificateur de schéma distinct.
