The Investment Experts' Group (IEG), a sub-forum of the CTI [Committee on Trade and Investment] established in 1994 in response to the mandate from APEC [Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation] Leaders to develop a set of non-binding investment principles for APEC. The IEG assists the CTI's efforts to enhance transparency of investment regimes, facilitate investment activities, and promote investment liberalisation within the region.
